Woods Tucker is an animator, visual artist, and musician based in Queens, NY. Their works include fiction and nonfiction films, as well as music videos and educational documentaries. In November 2024, they released their debut album Finding Language through the Funnybones Records.

Their films have been screened at the Atlanta Docufest, Blow-Up International Arthouse Film Festival, Cleveland International Film Festival, Torino Underground Cinefest, and the Toronto Short Film Festival. Their latest film The Shepherds won "Best Animation" at the New York Short Film Festival in 2023.

 

They are drawn towards artmaking that emerges organically alongside daily life, mirroring the ways we interact with our surroundings as emotional beings and dynamic parts of an ecosystem.

They grew up in Williamsburg, MA, and attended Oberlin College, majoring in both Psychology and Cinema Studies.
